Sumitranandan Pant was a noted poet of the Chhayawadi era of Hindi literature. They are considered to be one of the four pillars of the Shadow era. In his compositions, we get to know and read the secret of natural nature in natural language. Sumitranandan Pant's real name was Gusai Dutt. He has written many compositions related to naturalism since childhood. His own personality was also the center of attraction.
Early life - Sumitranandan Pant
Sumitranandan Pant was born on 20 May 1900 in Kasoni village in Almora, Uttar Pradesh. Her mother-in-law had died a few hours after being born. He was raised by his grandmother. His real name was Gusai Dutt. But they did not like this name. Therefore, later it changed its name to Sumitranandan Pant. Pant was the youngest of his seven siblings.
Sumitranandan Pant was in fourth grade. He started writing poetry since then. His early education started from Almora's school. When he was 18 years old, he moved to Benares with his brother and passed the high school examination from Banaras. After that, he went to Allahabad (Prayagraj) to study Stanka. And was enrolled in Allahabad University. But in the midst of leaving his studies, he joined his Satyagraha to support Mahatma Gandhi. He continued his further studies at home. And studied Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Bengali literature.
Pant is considered a poet based on natural. He has written very beautiful compositions on natural. Pant has tried his best to improve the language style in his compositions. He has been called the wordsworth of Hindi literature. Along with poems on naturalism, he has written many works on spiritual consciousness and human beauty.
From 1907 to 1918, Pant Prakritik knew how much he felt and tried to translate it into small poems which were published in 1927 under the name Vi विकृतिकa. His first book, Goodwas and Pallavas, was published in 1922. Jyotsna and Gunjan were published after that. This time is considered to be the golden period of Pant. All these compositions are considered to be a work of art, practice, and beauty.
Pant ji came to Almora with his brother and after coming to Almora he was greatly influenced by the ideologies of Marx and Freud. In 1938 Shamsher, along with Raghupati Sahay, brought out a monthly magazine. After this, he remained in the post of chief producer in the Akashvani from 1955 to 1962.

During his lifetime Pant had to face severe economic crisis. The father died while struggling with debt. To repay the debt, land and house had to be sold.
When Pant went to Shri Arvind Ashram, he developed his spiritual consciousness and then decided to remain unmarried for life.
Has been changing His early compositions are Natural and beauty depictions are found in them. After that, the poems of the Shadow Age era are found in his compositions. Then socialist progressive and spiritualist poems are found in his compositions.
Pant ji was born in Kasoni village in Uttar Pradesh. But now or places are in Uttarakhand. Where he spent his childhood. Today, his home has become Sumitranandan Pant Literary Science Museum. In this museum, his pen, glasses, cloth, and also his personal items are kept open. Pant Lecture Series is organized every year in this museum.
In 1961, Padma Bhushan was awarded for Hindi Sahitya Seva. In 1968, the Jnanpith, Sahitya Akademi and Soviet Land were awarded the Nehru Award. In the year 2015, a five-rupee Indian stamp was issued in the memory of Pant. Pant ji passed away on 28 December 1977.
