BSP chief Mayawati has fielded a Muslim candidate from Gorakhpur Sadar against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Actually, today BSP has released the list of 54 candidates. Muslim candidate Khwaja Shamsuddin will fight against CM Yogi.

Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has released the list of 54 candidates. In this list, the names of candidates have been announced from the seats where elections are to be held in the sixth phase. Mayawati has fielded Khwaja Shamsuddin against Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Muslim candidates will fight against CM Yogi from Gorakhpur Sadar. That is, there is going to be a thorn in this seat.

Chandra Prakash Nishad from Campierganj assembly seat of Gorakhpur district, Deepak Agarwal from Pipraich, Khwaja Shamsuddin from Gorakhpur city, Dara Singh Nishad from Gorakhpur Dehat, Smt. Anju Singh from Sahjanwan, Vidyasagar from Khajni, Virendra Pandey from Chauri-Chaura, Ram Nayan from Bansgaon Rajendra Singh has been fielded from Azad and Chillupar. On the other hand, tickets have been given to Prateek Pandey from Katehri seat of Ambedkar Nagar district, Smt. Shabana Khatoon from Tanda, Smt. Keshara Devi Gautam from Alapur, Rajesh Kumar Singh from Jalalpur and Chandra Prakash Verma from Akbarpur.

Let us tell you that for the 54 assembly seats in the districts including Gorakhpur, Deoria and Ballia, the BSP has announced the names of the candidates. There will be voting on March 3. The results of the elections will come after the counting of votes on March 10.
